Hi, quick post here. I know I owe the previous accounts of exciting events and Leyen has written me 6 A4 pages of BBK account in point form which i’m supposed to blog on them…haha..

Most of you should have know by now that BBK airport is closed due to the political unrest there. I’m back just before it got closed…call that lucky or close shave…

Cam called at 935am from office and the first statement she said was a low voice, “You know you’re so lucky!”
Bei called at 1004am from office and said, “Ming ming, you know you’re so lucky!”

Yes, I’m lucky. Bei messaged on Monday to ask my well-being already….Thank you dearies for being so concern!!

I’m back to my wonderful Singapore homeland SAFE AND SOUND!

Who wants to share lottery with moi the lucky gal? hahahaha….

You see how damn right I was…

yah…so in order to be like a TV serial that broadcast every night….here goes part 2 of last week’s story. (Why am i not asleep at this hour? haha…cos I’m trying out Adobe CS4…geek enough ba!)

Weekend mahjong started early with the usual regs at hillview way…me, cam, bei and bei ma not 被骂…is蓓妈…hahaha…anyway…Cam display her unusual no-lose tatic at the last 2 games of the north wind to turn her losing hand into a winner at the end of the game, walking away with $40 i think…haha…The night continues with Judy auntie joining in. She and her usual mahjong-must-sing tunes always tickled us…haha…and as usual, i’m not spared the mockery from the rest of the table…i must admit they’re so creative that they never repeat the things they have to say about me!

anyway, the interesting hour came…Chris sms bei asking her about the next day botanic garden trip. After bei replied her sms, my phone rang. Chris called me asking me how to go…so while I was talking to her…bei commented “you know who called mingyi? my howah colleague called my friend…how funny can this be.” Here’s part of the dialogue with me and Chris…

Chris: where are you?
Me: at bei’s house
Chris: what are you doing there?
Me: must you ask this question? I thought is default answer.
Chris: What? Mahjong again?
Me: told you is default answer, why must you be so silly to ask

so the table laughed at my dialogue…commenting that finally I gotta “scold” someone for the night after being “scolded” by them the whole night…

just as you thought the funny hour has passed….the phone ranged mins later after Chris put down the phone with me. It was a private number.

Bei was besides me and asked me to answer the phone.

Bei: answer leh
Me: NO! 
Bei: Why not?!
Me: I suspect is Nelson
Bei: Listen leh…hear what he has to say
Me: NO!

so the phone rang dies off…the next second, Bei’s phone rang! Nelson called her! Stupid Bei straight away passed the phone to me and say…找你的!

and yah, nelson was just asking me if I have received the sweets that she passed to bei…walau…i haven’t tasted it before still…and he said…he got something for me tomorrow….walau…yeah…he is my “lengendary” sister-brother boyfriend.

after I put down the phone i commented to bei….”you must reflect on yourself….why is it that all your colleague and cousins are calling me instead of you!” hahaha…it was really a funny hour with these 2 phone calls entertaining us in midst of our great loss at the table…hahaha…

Met up with our Mrs Aussie-to-be Yilin last Friday for a catch up session. You can read all the how-nana-gets-to-orchard-paragon story from Badnana and I shan’t repeat her story here She is still as fun, as 无厘头 and to prove that she’s a good organiser, she has arranged to meet us again this coming Friday.

Saturday morning was an early affair. Woke up at 6am to catch an early bus 857 to Yishun for my 1st golf lesson. Apparently, the bus ride only took 1/2 hour and I truly appreciate that I live so central. I think i’m being pampered to the ease of travel here. It was a hot morning and I am all wet on my face, head and back just after 15 mins of lesson. It was effective coaching. Somehow I manage to strike the ball pretty well and far. The coach looked at me and gave me a man’s club saying that I have the power to swing it. And Xiong Zhou who is the only guy in the class took a ladies’ club….haha…the lesson is supposed to be 1 hour but the coach is so nice that we chat and learn and play for 2 hours. 

After which, I went Sembawang with Xiong to meet up with a client. The agenda for the client is to negotiate for a lower price from us…but the talk ends up with them paying more…haha…I shall spare you guys the sales process but yah, me and Xiong’s power combine to up the cost by more than 1k….hahaha…

Then I took the train ride back to home where I meet QX at Mustafa to buy her long-awaited camera. (actually I’m more excited than her to get the camera…haha…) So to kill 2 birds in one stone, I’ve got my dream Panasonic Lumix LX3! Here’s the 1st picture taken at Mustafa with this newbie toy!!

Bei called and said she’ll be picking me up to her place from Orchard…so i hurried home, ate quick lunch, packed clothes, Shiro’s stuff and dash out of home again….Shiro was excited throughout the whole process. She knows that she’s going out once I took out her “gai gai” bag. She gave Cam a pool of excited pee when she greeted Cam….haha
