Shiro
Yes, a very precise title. Cos this blog entry is dedicated to my dear Jack Russell – Shiro. I’ve been bringing her out on almost every weekend to get her all hyped up with fun filled activities and occasional obedience stares and scolding from her discipline mistress (erm…kuro’s mum…haha) I’m always proud to be her owner as she has proven herself to be one of the most well behave JRT.
Before I got her, i’ve read a lot online about JRT problematic behaviour. Barky, chewy on things, etc…all kind of bad dog diaries…but Shiro exhibit little aspects of those things. In fact, in my definition, she is very obedient. I love her stares in my eyes, I love her tucks under my arms, I love her cuddle around my laps. I love her for all the joy she has provided for me and my family.
Today, I brought her to the vet. She’s diagnosed with false pregnancy. More details can be read up here: http://www.smalldogsparadise.com/breeding-small-dogs/what-happens-when-a-dog-goes-through-a-false-pregnancy/ She took 3 jabs (vaccination plus blood test) and many pills to swallow for her skin problem as well. But yet, she appeared to be a chirpy darling at the vet clinic.
Back home, she’s exhibiting her signs of false pregnancy again. searching for her substitute pup and nursing “it”. Whines when she feels uncomfortable…my heart feels sad when I see her suffer.
She needs a month of seclusion…to get her skin problem cured and also to get spayed. Hope that this one month will pass by soon and she will be a happy Shiro once again
Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day
